Rainy one out at Gingin today ☔ — but always thankful when the clients have a decent shed to work under. Cracked into a Manitou with a leaking inner axle shaft and hub seal, fitted a new wheel bearing while we were in there, and had her rebuilt and back out lifting hay bales before knock-off. 🔧

Grateful for the clients out this way who keep the work rolling in, rain or shine.

Tasked with a turbo-to-manifold gasket on this 509 Kenworth.

On removal, we found multiple cracks in the turbo — internal and external. Follow-up inspection of the manifold showed further cracking.

A reminder of why every job gets looked over properly, not just the reported fault. Parts are on order and she’ll be back in service soon.

Sorted this Fuso concrete pump for one of our CCS crews — replaced both two-section rocket cover gaskets and knocked over some light replacements on the side markers while it was in. Jobs like this add up — keeping the fleet compliant and leak-free means less downtime on site when it matters most.

Keeping critical infrastructure ready when it matters most. ⚡🔧

This week we completed scheduled servicing and compliance checks on a backup generator at one of our client’s distribution centres, ensuring it’s operating to standard and ready to perform when called upon.

While on site, we also diagnosed and repaired an issue with one of the diesel fire pumps. Pump 1 had a starting fault, which was traced back to a faulty hand primer allowing air into the fuel system. After rectifying the issue and bleeding the system, the pump was back up and operating as it should.

Preventative maintenance and accurate fault diagnosis are key to keeping essential equipment reliable when it’s needed most.
