Week wrapped up and this one felt good!

Despite some wild weather this week, we got this house pad finished up for a local couple — level, solid, and compaction tests passing well above what's required.

For a typical house pad build, we're rolling out:

🚛 Truck (or two) — carting in the material
💧 Water cart — keeping moisture levels right for compaction
🦺 Bobcat with grader- levelling it all out properly
🔧 Backhoe — pushing, moving, shaping the materials
🏗️ Roller/plate compactor — compacting it down layer by layer
📏 Pedometer — making sure every layer meets spec

August/ September is the sweet spot. 🌧️

It's been a drier winter than most which means we've been able to keep working straight through — no real downtime, just jobs getting done.

The ground's still workable, the rains are starting to ease up, and spring is just around the corner. If you've been putting off a driveway, drainage fix, or site prep job — now is genuinely the best time to get it done.

Right now we're sitting at around 4-6 weeks lead time for larger projects. Once spring hits, that blows out to 8-10 weeks plus.

Its been a busy few weeks 🛻

Getting plenty of calls lately for building up low spots around properties and topdressing lawns.

A bit of good soil in the right places can make a huge difference, whether you're fixing drainage issues, leveling out an area, or giving your lawn a fresh start.
