The GT-3 wheels feature a lightweight forged construction with an aggressive multi-spoke design that perfectly suits the character of the Corolla hatch. To complete the setup, we’ve also installed the AFD lowering springs, which bring the ride height down for a much cleaner stance and more planted appearance.

Final part of our three-part series on the AFD × DMAKER F1 Stainless Steel Valved Cat Back Exhaust System, and this is the part everyone has been waiting for 💥

After showcasing the product and completing the installation, we took the WRX Spec B out for a proper road test to see how the system performs where it really matters.

Straight away, the difference is noticeable. The valved system gave us the flexibility to keep things refined when cruising, while opening it up delivers an aggressive tone that suits the WRX perfectly. The sound is deep, crisp and very responsive, without the harsh rasp that some systems can produce.

In our honest opinion, this is easily one of the best sounding exhaust systems available for the WRX VB platform right now. It brings out the character of the FA24 engine while still keeping the car enjoyable to be daily driven.

If you’ve been considering an exhaust upgrade for your WRX, this one is definitely worth hearing.

Continuing our three-part series on the AFD × DMAKER F1 Stainless Steel Valved Cat Back Exhaust System, Part 2 takes us into the workshop as we install the system on our WRX shop Spec B.

The installation process highlights how well the system has been engineered for the platform. With model-specific mounting points and precision bends, everything lines up exactly where it should.

From the valved muffler design to the beautifully finished stainless steel piping, every component feels purposeful and properly built for the WRX platform.
