Founded from the Covid downturn, Sculptor & Artist Stephen Rowe has truly put together something special encompassing all areas of the art world spectrum. Steve is inspired by the natural environment, his wife, and his family. With his work reflecting his love for them and their home state of WA. From the state-of-the-art workshop in Midvale in Western Australia. Steve, and the Austech team create candidly insightful forms from every day and industrial objects to produce one-of-a-kind pieces.

🔥 We Just wrapped up this custom table build for a client — and we are stoked with how it turned out!

💀 The legs are cut from 8mm plate steel into detailed skull and crossbones, linked together with real chain for that heavy-duty industrial look.

🌲 The Jarrah and resin river top was supplied by the client, and it’s a showstopper on its own.

Even better — this piece is going to get the finishing touch from the insanely talented airbrush artist James Collier of Creative Works. James will be painting the table legs, and if you’ve seen his murals, you’ll know they’re absolutely next-level. He’s done some incredible work for me in the past, and I can’t wait to see how he brings this to life. 🎨

This one’s going to be a true statement piece — tough steel, rich timber, flowing resin, and world-class artwork. 👊

We’ve been busy in the workshop milling Jarrah posts into unique log seats. These posts were once the sturdy end posts in a Swan Valley grape vineyard – now given new life with a touch of craftsmanship.

Each seat is paired with legs made from 8mm steel, designed in the shape of a grape leaf 🍇 – a nod to their vineyard history.

Not just your average day at Austech illusions Tash and I are turning 50year old jarrah post that were the end strainers for a grape vineyard in the swan Valley. They about to be fire word but saw the potential. These slabs will be part of some metal sculptures that are in the process and some are being turned in log seats to go around a custom build fire pit we made for a client.
