What are you seeing ? The dizzy has a hall sensor in it and will flash red just before top dead centre on the compression stroke. This is telling the ECU where it is so it can fire each injector just before the valve opens.. making it sequentially injected. What a huge difference for an engine designed in the 1950s , ironically it was designed during the fuel crisis to save money, and in the modern age we are maximising its smaller displacement to give it the best economy it can with even more power ! Love a first start when it all goes well (smoke is heat wrap not dodgy install 😜) These TVRs are special cars and really wake up with a new ECU driving them. Now to get out and tune it !

14 years ago wandering the streets with a VW engine on a tray with no clue.. and Angus Douglas mainly collecting all the oil on his shoes. Sweet naive memories. Still clueless but faking it ok

Delivered this back to Patrick Agar last week and he sends me his review video !! Only comment is the new Kitset EFI KIT seems to have tripled his power. How good do the South Australian dunes look. I think we’ve developed a good dune blaster upgrade for him 😬

When you need to service the Rover V8 or just top up a litre at the gas station. Nothing worse than that unwanted spill. Well, no more, a wide neck funnel the locks into place and makes that spill next to impossible. Message me if you want one or the 3D file to print your own.
