Just in time for Christmas!

We recently had the pleasure of handing the keys to this awesome 79, back to Brad from the NW Coast.

Only for a very short period I might add, as it was off to Fatbuilds 4x4 to get some more finishing touches ready for some summer play time.

It’s been great to see this project come together and keep an eye out on the socials for the finished product @ Fatbuilds 4x4

Next stop FATBUILDS 4X4 for some spring action

We are pretty lucky to meet some amazing people with the projects we complete.

Last year we completed a custom NOMAD G2 Tray build for an amazing client Andrew who had a clear vision of what the end product was to be.

“Downsizing” was the magic word 😂

Andrew had done the caravan thing and wanted to get as much as he could on the back of a new Ford Ranger Wildtrack.

Supplying a lightweight but strong dual cab tray was the first step, with some clever integration and future planning to enable the addition of a Tommy Camper. Andrew had a vision of an interior fit out that would enable all the creature comforts of a caravan and as much storage as possible.

The challenge was accepted and we recently delivered the final piece 👌

The credit for this job sits with Andrew and a very skilled, patient and passionate fabricator called Ryan 🙏

It’s pretty cool seeing what you can achieve when customer and creator come together.

You have no idea how many sheets of aluminium are in this thing, not to mention draw systems.

Unfortunately we have hidden the crazy amount of electrical equipment, battery capacity and plumbing behind all of these aluminium panels.

Every bit of usable space has been utilised for a reason, designed by Andrew and Ryan. Full use of all exterior appliances without any interference with internal access or accommodation.

FYI for anyone wondering. Yes it’s legal and under weight for the vehicles GVM.
We take ADR compliance very seriously at NOMAD and offer on site testing if required.
