Once the carpenter has finished off the opening this will be a fantastic outcome.

Today the team was called to this home at southwest rocks after the door was caught on a roof rack pulling the wheels out of the tracks, popping a hinge out and jumping a cable.

Nice easy fix and a bit of straightening saving this customer hundreds of dollars not needing a replacement panel.

WEST KEMPSEY

Recently we were contacted by a lovely lady from West Kempsey that once again has been let down by another local trade.

She agreed to have a sliding gate installed but after supplying the gates and the hardware and attempting to pour a concrete pier to then realise the job was too big for them and stepped away.

After having a look at the job and realising that the concrete pier was more than 80mm out of plane and the guide post was on the wrong side unfortunately our only option was to tear everything out and start again.

We dug out the existing concrete pier and replaced it with a much stronger and neater one on the correct plane to allow the sliding gate to work correctly and room for the sliding gate motor to be mounted.

A couple of days battling the rain but I dare say this job has now met the customers expectations.

We don’t claim to be the cheapest, but we do get the job done correctly the first time and back it up with quality service and warranty.

EMERGENCY CALLOUT!!! Check out this centre bearing plate we were called to last night after the owner noticed a bend in the torsion bar. This is perhaps the closest we have ever seen a center bearing plate hold on without pulling out completely and destroying everything in its path like they do when the tension is released.

Unfortunately this client has already had this happen before and the problem was not rectified correctly by the original installer and as you can see has pulled out again.

We quickly were able to detension the door and fabricate a spreader plate to share the load across multiple bricks so this never happens again to this client.

All of our installs come with Perfection garage doors 10 year warranty with the required service intervals meaning we can catch any issues before they occur.

We offer a $75 Callout and 15 point safety inspection to put your mind at ease.
