Hi all, Eternal Memories has decided to semi-retire. I wont be videoing weddings or concerts anymore.
It has been a fabulous 20 years of business. I have met some wonderful people and shared in some happy and precious moments in peoples lives.
Thanks to all the wedding industry people I have had the privilege to work with. You have all been very supportive and helped me along the way.
I wont be going away completely. I would like to continue with some sort of business, I don't know what yet.
I will continue to practice with my Canon 5D MkII, mainly with landscapes etc.
I will miss the video editing side of things, but I have found a lot of things to keep me busy.

Whilst doing my shopping the other day I recognised a familiar face on the other side of the counter. "Hi how are you going?" he said. You did my wedding video back in 2004." "Thank you so much, you did such a great job. We watch it all the time and only had it out the other day to look at again." "Our two children love watching it with us as well."
That makes it all work while...

A big thank you too the wonderful people who helped me in my time of need. I wasnt too well having my rounds of chemotherapy and when I asked for help with the dance concerts I received it. A big thank you to Gavin Critchley and Fred from AVC Video who helped me tremendously when all I could do was be there and they did the filming etc for me, and Paul from Classic Shot Video who was in the wings if I needed him. I couldnt have done it without you all.
I'm feeling much better now and getting my energy back. I am nearly through the editing so everything is on track.
Once again thank you all it was very much appreciated.

Well..... I start my chemo on Monday. I wont say I am looking forward to it, but it is something that has to be done. Only 4 treatments, so I will be finished by Christmas. Lets hope I dont react too severely. It would be great if I keep my hair...

Dont you hate it.... I get right to then end of a wedding edit and realise that I have spelt the brides name wrong!!!! Even did it on the DVD titles as well... You'd think I
'd know by now... Oh well at least I didnt send it out like that...

Very disappointed that I wont be able to display at the Belmont 16Ft's. No point till I know I have another cameraperson to work for me. I would hate to take bookings and not be able to do them. I loved it last year and was looking forward to it.

Eternal Memories finds it so disappointing that after a lot of hard work, effort and money to get bookings and produce an exceptional product I cannot find decent camera people that I pay good money to, to share my passion. Especially ones that let you down days before a wedding.
