Nothing beats pulling up to a remote camp and grabbing an ice cold drink straight from the back of the rig.

We recently upgraded our 79 Series Landcrusier build with a 112L myCOOLMAN Fridge and Freezer, and it is an absolute game changer for life off the grid. Having that massive fridge space plus a dedicated removable freezer means fresh camp meals and freezing cold drinks are always sorted, no matter how far you're adventuring.

The best part is being able to check and adjust the fridge temps straight from the app while kicking back in the camp chair.

When you are traveling Australia with five people in a RAM 2500, getting the storage right is the most important part of the entire build.

Sand to Summit knew exactly what they needed out of their Chassis Mount Explorer Package to keep all the family gear perfectly sorted.

Inside, they went with a completely tailored layout featuring our massive DXD1000 and DXD750 slam shut drawers to maximise bulk storage. On the passenger side, they set up a dedicated fridge space alongside an X Series modular shelving unit and a slide-out pantry for all their food and daily essentials. But the storage does not stop inside the canopy.

To make use of every single inch of the RAM, they went with our single lid undertray drawer and a full set of vehicle-matched underbody toolboxes. These easily accessible external compartments are the absolute perfect spot to stash dirty recovery gear and their first aid kits. It is incredibly practical and keeps the messy or emergency items completely separate from the clean living space.

For the rear end, they went with dual spare wheel carriers split perfectly by a centre canopy ladder.

79 Series Land Cruisers and beach camping go hand in hand!

Taking our workhorse over to North Stradbroke Island was the perfect excuse to put our Chassis Mount Explorer Package to the test on the soft sand. When you are running a heavy-duty touring setup, having a rig that is completely dialled in makes the whole trip effortless.

Getting to those remote coastal camps is light work thanks to the Dobinsons suspension and ROH wheels. Up front, the Offroad Animal bullbar and Carbon Offroad winch ensure this rig is ready for absolutely any track the island has to offer.

Inside the canopy, it is all about maximising space and efficiency for life off the grid. The Explorer Package gives us a massive, organised layout to keep all the recovery gear and camp essentials perfectly sorted. When it is finally time to park up, the Outback Tourer rooftop tent and awning give us the ultimate shaded basecamp in a matter of minutes.

The ultimate family tourer! 👇

Sand to Summit set out to build a rig for their family of five; they needed something that could handle both remote tracks and daily chaos. Travelling with three kids means everything has to have a purpose, and having a highly organised space is absolutely key.

We outfitted their 2021 RAM 2500 with our X-Series Chassis-Mounted Explorer Package. As you can see from the internal shots, this setup is all about maximising storage and making life at camp as easy as possible. With a fully integrated slide-out pantry and multiple X-Series drawer modules, pulling up to the beach and getting lunch sorted is completely effortless.

At the end of the day, building a capable rig is really just about the places it takes you and the memories you make with the family along the way.

The ultimate mobile pool shop for Jim's Pool Care.

We recently had this 2025 Hilux SR Dual Cab in the shop to build out a custom canopy setup for Jim's Pool Care. When you are working out of your ute every single day, having a highly organised space makes all the difference on the job.

This work rig is centred around our 1650x1800 X-Series 5-Door Canopy, finished in a tough GV3 powder coat. The 5-door design gives maximum access to the custom internal fit-out, making it incredibly easy to reach gear, tools, and chemicals from any angle.

Underneath, we maximised the storage with an under tray drawer and a pair of undertray toolboxes. Up top, it is running our X-Series Slimline Platform Roof Rack with a slimline side rail set, giving plenty of extra tie-down space for longer equipment like pool poles.

To tie the whole system together and keep things practical, we integrated our premium keyless entry system and LED lighting for quick access. We also made sure the factory tech remained fully functional by seamlessly relocating the Hilux's reverse camera and parking sensors.

Ineos Quartermasters paired with our X-Series Chassis Mount Explorer Package make for a seriously capable touring platform.

We recently fitted out this 2025 Ineos Quartermaster Dual Cab. The main canopy body is finished in a tough GV8N Matte Black powder coat, while the canopy doors and underbody toolboxes are perfectly colour-aligned to match the factory paint.

The rear wall is loaded up and ready for the tracks, featuring a driver's side spare wheel carrier, a central canopy ladder, and a lockable jerry can holder on the passenger side. Up top, we welded three extrusion rails with T-channel slots across the roof for versatile mounting options. Underneath, we maximised the external storage with a single lid under tray drawer.

Inside the canopy, the layout is completely tailored for life off the grid. We fitted an X-Series slide-out pantry, a four-drawer module, and two additional slam-shut drawers, carefully designing the layout to leave the perfect gap for the customer to install their own fridge.

The whole system is tied together with our premium keyless entry and internal lighting, ensuring quick access day or night. We also made sure the factory tech remained fully functional by seamlessly relocating the reverse camera & parking sensors.

By ditching the factory tub and mounting straight to the chassis, this setup keeps the weight down and drastically improves the vehicle's centre of gravity. The team completely integrated the Shark's factory power outlets directly into the canopy, built custom enclosures to seamlessly relocate the charging port, and professionally calibrated all the ADAS safety sensors so the tech works flawlessly.
