Training session tonight turned into another wee crack at

Increased my top score by 2 to 124 and think I'm still leading. Crazy thing is I was using this session tonight to focus on technique and didn't give me best sooooo watch this space.

I thank the French Forest team who are so strict on form and technique
Eg. must stand tall and upright for burpees and box jumps. You're making me a better competitor because bad form = no reps and judges are gonna be strict come playoffs 👀

Someone say competition? BRING IT ON👊

At my gym Virgin Active Australia they're currently running a comp called ⏱

Last week I set the highest score for a female at my Frenchs Forest club with a score of 112. I lost it during the week to 116 but today smashed out 122 to lead again🏅

Hopefully I can row, push, bend, lunge, run and squat my way to the Australia playoff in a couple of weeks with a chance to represent Aus VA in South Africa😳

Over the next few weeks I'll share how I'm training to try max out my reps with the help of my trainer Tim Sloane - Fitness and all the amazing PTs from frenchs!🙏 @ Virgin Active Frenchs Forest

💃Happy International Women's Day🏃‍♀️

A close friend recently prompted me to 'get posting' because she was personally inspired by me and suggested that I could motivate and inspire others.

SO here it is, me feeling strong! I could always be stronger but as an obstacle racer it's about finding that right balance of strength and cardio.

Grateful to be trained by Obstacle Course Coaching who keep my training focussed and keep me motivated in preparation for Spartan Race Australia & NZ Sydney and True Grit - Military Inspired Obstacle Challenge Sydney and OCR World Championships💪

HURRICANE LANE unfortunately cancelled my Spartan Hawaii race adventure but that was no excuse not to train💨😢💪

Whilst most girls are posting bikini location pics while holidaying, I prefer to show how to gain a strong and fit body - with just your body as equipment! Thankfully head coach was there to guide and motivate me😂

Reflection is so often underused but can be such a powerful tool for motivation...
⏹2016 was my last obstacle race before committing to train for my 1st olympic distance triathlon.
⏹2017 I was pregnant for 9 months
⏹Less than 10 months ago we welcomed our lil boy to this world
⏹12 weeks ago I sprained my ankle and
⏹6 weeks ago I started incorporating a strength workout per week into my program.

So excited to try out my new F-lite 195.

These have been recommended to me by my foot specialist because of my foot structure and recent ankle injury so looking forward to testing out as a cross-training shoe for both HIIT, weights and running workouts AND hopefully no more injuries.

Sometimes FUNCTION has to take priority to keep ones feet and supporting joints protected but also perfect excuse to go shopping for new gym tops to match!

ROPE CLIMB All the hard work I've been putting in following my program is paying off.

I welcomed the opportunity to be guided by local beaches trainer so I could test my technique and strength. Fingers and shoulders were on fire after 4 rounds of this lil burner but well worth the pain for the practise.

Need to improve so more power comes from my legs but very happy with this first attempt.

Welcome any of your hints and tips!

BALL SLAMS 🏐🎵

Loving this muscle & cardio burner. Fun lil exercise that helps develop power, strength, speed and co-ordination.

If you push yourself and combine with a few other exercises like I did today (thank you Obstacle Course Coaching), it will leave you puffed for sure 😌

Day 2 of our beautiful family holiday in Fiji, a HIIT workout on some grass ended tragically when I ran on top of a baby coconut and sprained my ankle🌴😤

8 weeks have passed and what a test this journey has proven to be - not just on my body but my mind. I've really tried to focus on the positives and seen this as an opportunity to focus on my weaknesses 🙏
