Critical planning is involved when it comes to a site set up.
As a generator is generally one of the first items delivered, there are a few things to consider

1. Generator location
- Can it be accessed by a technician for maintenance?
- It's harder to relocate once connected, but not impossible.

2. Generator Access
- As a safety precaution, the generator doors should be kept locked at all times.
- The generator should only be connected by a licenced electrician.
- Familiarisation of equipment for safe operation.

3. Refuelling
- How will it be refuelled?
- An onsite fuel cell to extend refill periods, or a shorter regular schedule?
- Is there easy/safe access?

4. Appropriate sizing
- It's important to size your generator correctly to avoid overloading, or in other cases with such low use over an extended period of time can significantly impact the health of the generator.

5. Monitoring
- Is your generator able to be accurately monitored to ensure a suitable service is provided.
