It was a fantastic evening celebrating an exciting milestone for the JCB brand in Australia and a great opportunity to connect with dealers, customers, and industry partners from across the country.

The world-famous JCB Dancing Diggers were certainly a sight to behold and a real highlight of the evening, showcasing the precision, innovation, and engineering excellence that JCB is renowned for.

There's something rewarding about being invited back to a project years later because your client trusts your work.

After originally designing and engineering the generator and Main Switchboard system for a major regional hospital in 2017, the team at MJK Generators was proud to return to complete an upgrade to the switchgear controls.

The hospitals 3 x 550kVA generators operate in parallel with closed transition synchronization, allowing seamless transfer between mains and generator power, while monthly load testing can be carried out with zero interruption to critical hospital services.

As the hospital looks towards embedded generation and future Demand Response opportunities, MJK Generators is proud to continue supporting the site with the technical expertise, testing and engineering needed to keep this critical infrastructure operating reliably for years to come.

MJK Generators | Project Completion

MJK Generators recently completed the final testing, commissioning and REQ/Energex approvals for a major TV and radio transmission site in Queensland.

The system features 2 x JCB G545QX generators operating in synchronization, integrated with a new MDB and MSB to provide closed transition, bumpless transfer with the Energex network, ensuring uninterrupted operation and keeping essential broadcast services on air.

The installation also includes a permanent load bank and 5,000L fuel system. While the generators, load bank and fuel system were supplied by others, the team behind MJK Generators originally scoped, designed and engineered the project, with MJK Generators completing the final testing and commissioning. DW Controls delivered the switchboards, electrical installation and civil works.

A great example of multiple teams working together to deliver a reliable power solution for critical infrastructure.

Our scope included the design and supply of the fuel transfer control system, factory testing, on-site commissioning, and engineering support for the generator room airflow and ventilation systems.
