Today its coolant leaks on a Bmw 330I F30lci with a B48 engine.
These have a heap of plastic pipes and modules for the cooling system. To gain access you need to pull quite a bit of the car apart. We fitted a new oil filter housing and cooler, coolant fittings, water pump and hoses.
Afterwards we vacuum bleeding to test for system sealing.

Old school mustang we just finished. This car was a 289 and we just fitted a 351 Windsor with roller cam, custom extractors, gilmer drive, B&M shifter and cut hole in bonnet for the taller engine.
This car needed a load of modifications to fit.
The worst being the AOD gearbox to work with a ratchet shifter and holley brawler carburettor.
This was a Holley crate engine which had numerous faults that we had to fix. The base timing was not set, the firing order was marked incorrectly out of the box. It was marked for late model Windsor and this particular engine was using a early model firing order camshaft.

Today we have a Mercedes CLA200 in for service and check transmission for abnormal shifts. Powatone use quality oem style filters and oil as we have seen some aftermarket oil filters delaminate and leave particles behind in the system.
After carrying out the transmission service, we carry out a readaption of the transmission and road test.
DSG,DCT and Auto transmissions need servicing as per the schedule, as the new transmissions are very expensive to repair if something goes wrong.

Today we have a BMW 640I GRAN COUPE in for a service, transmission service and check for a noise in the brakes.
Most shops aswell as bmw class the transmission as a sealed unit. No mechanical part last forever with old oil and filters.
On the 8hp and 6hp transmissions, the filter is part of the oil pan. We suggest a oil change no later than 100.000km aswell as fresh oil and re adaption of its parameters.
This ensures a long life of the transmission. We've seen these transmissions fail as early as 110000 when not serviced and driven hard.
The brake noise was due to 1 pad had worn excessively due to a faulty caliper slide.
This caused the brakes to wear through to the metal backing plate.
