Some timber leaves our yard and becomes a deck, a table, or a beam.
Other pieces find a very different calling.
Our friend and client Peter Alexander recently selected some beautiful old Oregon from our collection and transformed it into this extraordinary carving of Archangel Michael.
It's always inspiring to see reclaimed timber given a second life, especially when it carries such meaning for the people it belongs to. This piece has been created for Peter's family and stands as a reminder that timber can be more than a building material. It can become a story, a symbol, and a legacy.

The timber rescue of Trinity Catholic College, Lismore. 🪵

A big shout out to the local legends at for taking the time and care to salvage these beautiful Australian hardwoods from this historic site.

Instead of ending up in landfill, these old-growth timbers have been preserved for a second life in new projects across the Northern Rivers. Great to see local businesses helping keep valuable resources in circulation and a little piece of Lismore's history alive.

This rustic side table started life as offcuts most people wouldn’t look twice at — now it’s all character, texture, and quiet strength.

A nice example of how flexible reclaimed hardwood can be. This project used our decking in a slightly different way—run vertically as cladding for an entrance gate and outdoor BBQ area. The result is something warm, textured, and full of depth that you just don’t get with new materials. Designed and styled by a client with a great eye, and already making its way into photoshoots and an upcoming feature in Home Beautiful.
