π§ MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST β MECHANICAL π§
Weβre currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist β Mechanical to support the review, development and improvement of Mechanical Maintenance Standard Work Instructions within a heavy industrial environment.
This role would suit someone with a strong hands-on mechanical background who understands maintenance tasks, safety, hazards and risk controls, and can communicate technical information clearly.
What youβll be doing:
πΉ Reviewing and updating existing maintenance work instructions
πΉ Developing new Standard Work Instructions
πΉ Ensuring job steps, hazards, risks and controls are clearly documented
πΉ Identifying required equipment, competencies, photos and diagrams
πΉ Working closely with mechanical personnel and Document Controllers
πΉ Completing desktop reviews and in-field task observations
What weβre looking for:
β Mechanical Fitter background preferred
β Boilermakers and experienced Trades Assistants also considered
β Heavy industry, alumina refining or minerals processing experience highly regarded
β Strong safety knowledge and experience with high-risk work
β Good Microsoft Word and written communication skills
β Technical writing, maintenance planning, supervision or safety experience highly regarded
β Rigging, do***ng, crane and/or Working at Heights qualifications are advantageous
π 40-hour week | 9-day fortnight
π° Superannuation paid on all hours worked
π Part-time and WFH/remote flexibility may be considered for the right person
