🔧 MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST – MECHANICAL 🔧

We’re currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist – Mechanical to support the review, development and improvement of Mechanical Maintenance Standard Work Instructions within a heavy industrial environment.

This role would suit someone with a strong hands-on mechanical background who understands maintenance tasks, safety, hazards and risk controls, and can communicate technical information clearly.

What you’ll be doing:
🔹 Reviewing and updating existing maintenance work instructions
🔹 Developing new Standard Work Instructions
🔹 Ensuring job steps, hazards, risks and controls are clearly documented
🔹 Identifying required equipment, competencies, photos and diagrams
🔹 Working closely with mechanical personnel and Document Controllers
🔹 Completing desktop reviews and in-field task observations

What we’re looking for:
✔ Mechanical Fitter background preferred
✔ Boilermakers and experienced Trades Assistants also considered
✔ Heavy industry, alumina refining or minerals processing experience highly regarded
✔ Strong safety knowledge and experience with high-risk work
✔ Good Microsoft Word and written communication skills
✔ Technical writing, maintenance planning, supervision or safety experience highly regarded
✔ Rigging, do***ng, crane and/or Working at Heights qualifications are advantageous

🗓 40-hour week | 9-day fortnight
💰 Superannuation paid on all hours worked
🏠 Part-time and WFH/remote flexibility may be considered for the right person

Site Maintenance Specialists is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for approximately 12–24 months of work at Greenbushes.

💰 Up to $76/hr + nightshift loading
💰 Superannuation paid on all hours worked

ROSTER

🔹 7 Days On / 7 Days Off, 7 Nights On / 7 Days Off
🔹 Ongoing rotating roster

LOCAL – DRIVE IN / DRIVE OUT (DIDO)

🚗 Drive in / drive out each shift
⏱ 11-hour shifts
💰 2 hours paid travel per shift

CAMP ACCOMMODATION

🏠 Camp accommodation provided
⏱ 12-hour shifts
🚌 Paid MOB In / Paid MOB Out

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

🔧 Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters
🔧 Maintenance experience
🔧 Experience with crushers, conveyors and pumps highly regarded

Site Maintenance Specialists is seeking 4 experienced Mechanical Fitters for commissioning works at a crushing plant in the Western Ridge / Newman area for approximately 3 months.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Fitters with strong crusher and fixed plant experience.

✅ 2/1 roster
✅ 12-hour days – generally 6am to 6pm
✅ FIFO to Newman area
✅ Western Ridge / BHP site
✅ Approximately 3 months of commissioning works
✅ 4 positions available

Crusher experience is essential, and applicants must hold the relevant site competencies and inductions.

We’re looking for experienced, safety-focused Fitters who can hit the ground running and contribute to a professional team environment.

Site Maintenance Specialists are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Fitters for an ongoing maintenance opportunity working within a small team environment. Applicants with fixed plant experience, particularly on conveyors and crushers, will be highly regarded.

What We Offer:
✅ Ongoing fixed plant maintenance work
✅ 8 Days On / 6 Days Off roster (Wednesday to Wednesday)
✅ DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out)
✅ Camp accommodation provided
✅ 12.5-hour shifts
✅ Immediate start once approved (Start date TBC)

Roster Details:
• Drive to site Wednesday morning (arrive approximately 7:30am)
• Return home the following Wednesday (depart site approximately 3:00pm)
• Bus departs camp daily at 5:00am
• Bus returns from site at 5:30pm

Celebrating the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia's 20th Anniversary!
Another productive afternoon was spent assembling 600 birthing kits to add to the 20,000 kits being packed across Australia during May to celebrate this important milestone.
