Completed repairs to both the inner and outer trunnion bores on this D10 nose cone.

With over 22 years of experience line boring heavy equipment, this was a first for us. Extensive wear and damage required a tailored repair approach, including precision machining and the manufacture of custom bearings to restore correct fitment and function for the
customer.

Both bores were reclaimed and machined back to specification, ensuring correct alignment, bearing crush, and long-term reliability in service.

Jobs like this are a reminder that no two repairs are ever the same - sometimes the solution needs to be engineered from the ground up.

Prompt response and fast turnaround on this water cart articulation joint repair.

We were called in to inspect and repair an articulation joint that was found to be well out of specification due to excessive wear. We mobilised quickly, carried out the required weld reclamation and precision line boring works, restoring the bores back to correct tolerances and alignment.

From initial inspection through to final fit-up, the job was completed efficiently and safely to minimise downtime and get the machine back into operation as quickly as possible.

This steering point on a Volvo articulated truck had seen better days.

We set up carefully with our compact equipment and did a full repair, even robot welding upside down. New bearings were fitted and the whole assembly is back together ready for action.

Night shift done and dusted.

Tray pivot bore repairs completed overnight for a Tier 1 mining client. Scope included full clean-down of the work area, removal of worn bushes, bore refurbishment through weld build-up and precision machining, followed by installation of new bushes to restore correct fit and function.

On-site grader articulation repairs completed.

Engaged to assess and repair wear in the articulation joint, we carried out a full inspection on arrival and provided a detailed report outlining required works. Following approval, the repairs completed included weld reclamation and precision lineboring to restore correct tolerances, alignment, and pin fit.

Commencing repairs on a CAT 777 haul truck tray.

Scope of work includes reclamation of the tray pivot and hoist bores, addressing wear, and loss of tolerance developed in service. Bores will be built-up using controlled procedures, followed by precision line boring to OEM specification to restore correct geometry, alignment, and bearing fit.

Critical mount faces and interfaces will be checked and machined as required to ensure proper load transfer and eliminate premature component wear.

Work is now underway, with a focus on accuracy, structural integrity, and returning the tray to reliable operating condition within required tolerances.

Full rebuild on this PC2000 bucket, bringing it back to spec and ready for work.

Worn and out-of-tolerance pin holes were reclaimed with weld build-up, followed by precision lineboring to restore correct sizing and alignment across all bores. Mount faces were then machined to ensure they’re flat, square, and true — critical for proper fitment and load distribution.

Final assembly confirmed correct pin fit and alignment throughout, eliminating play and restoring structural integrity to the bucket.

From weld to final machine, this one’s been brought back right — built to handle the punishment and keep going.

Quick turnaround, without cutting corners.

These tray hoist bores came in requiring immediate attention due to wear and loss of tolerance. We mobilised quickly, completing on-site setup, weld build-up to reclaim the bores, followed by precision lineboring back to OEM specification.

Final fitment was carried out to ensure correct alignment and tolerances, restoring full function and reliability to the hoist system.

We know downtime isn’t an option — so our focus is fast response, efficient ex*****on, and delivering accurate, long-lasting repairs the first time.
