Thank You Everyone. Bring on 2027!

Unfortunately, with our Under 13s' finals campaign coming to an end today, the curtain closes on the Belmont North Sharks' 2026 season.

While the result wasn't what we hoped for, it takes nothing away from what has been an incredible year for our club. As we reflect on the season that was, we are filled with immense pride and gratitude for everyone who has played a part in making 2026 such a success.

To our players, parents, families, coaches, managers, trainers, volunteers, supporters, committee members, sponsors, suppliers and the many people behind the scenes who contribute each week, THANK YOU. Your dedication, passion and support are the foundation of our club. Without the incredible community we have built together, the Belmont North Sharks would not be in the strong position it finds itself in today.
Your commitment, ideas and energy inspires and motivates our committee to keep turning up, keep improving and keep finding ways to make our club stronger for the future.

There have been so many memorable moments throughout the year. Finding a way to provide free registration for all female Sharks players as well as all U5,U6 & U7 players this season to get more kids playing our great game. Watching our Under 5s take the field for the very first time and fall in love with rugby league. Seeing our Under 12WT team come together and grow throughout the season. Witnessing two proud clubs join forces to ensure a group of young men could continue playing the game they love while proudly representing both logos they have grown up wearing. Watching 2 of our 3 international teams earn finals appearances. Seeing club legends return to lend a helping hand whenever needed and we could go on all day but these are the moments that define our club and remind us what the Sharks are all about.

Whilst the playing season may be finished, the work doesn't stop. Our committee will now turn its attention to our end of year celebrations, including Presentation Day and Sponsors Night, with dates to be confirmed and shared with everyone shortly. We will also continue to work on ways to make things easier and better for our Sharkies and families going into next season.

For now, we hope all of our players, families, supporters and volunteers enjoy a well earned break. The hard work has been done and it's time to reflect on what was a fantastic year for the Belmont North Sharks in 2026.

We are already excited about what lies ahead, and cannot wait to welcome all of our Sharkies back in 2027. Together, we'll continue to grow, continue to improve, and continue building a club that our community can be proud of for many years to come.

💙💛 Vale Patrick Ward 💛💙

It is with heavy hearts that the Belmont North Sharks extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the late Patrick Ward.

Pat was much more than a loyal supporter of our club. He was one of the true and original pioneers whose dedication, leadership and passion helped build the foundations of the Belmont North Sharks.

As President during the late 1970s and early 1980s, Pat played a significant role in shaping the club we know today.

The commitment, values and standards set by Pat and his fellow club leaders have stood the test of time, helping the Sharks remain strong, proud and community focused for more than 50 years. His legacy lives on through his family and every player who pulls on the blue and gold jersey, every volunteer who gives their time and every family that calls and has previously called the Sharks home.

Pat's contribution to our club and community will never be forgotten! We are forever grateful for the path he helped pave for future generations of Sharks.

Thank you for everything Pat! Once a Shark, Always a Shark. 💙💛🦈

While the 2026 regular season has come to an end for most of our Sharkies, the journey continues for our Under 13s and Under 14s, who kick off their finals campaign this Saturday.

We would love to see a sea of Sharks supporters at Toronto this Saturday as our boys take the field in the first week of finals.

Your support from the sidelines makes a huge difference, so if you can get there, make sure you bring your Sharkies spirit and cheer the boys on loud and proud.

Everyone at the Belmont North Sharks is incredibly proud of what these teams have achieved throughout the season. Their hard work, commitment and determination have earned them this opportunity, and we can't wait to see them compete for a place in the next stage of the finals series.

Let's get behind our Sharkies and show them the support they deserve.

It's hard to believe we've reached the final regular round of the 2026 season!

The Sharks would like to sincerely thank all of our players, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters for your commitment, patience and enthusiasm throughout what has been an outstanding season.
Your support has played a huge part in making this year such a success.

A special congratulations to our Under 13s and Under 14s, who have earned their place’s in this year's finals.

We encourage everyone to get behind these teams next week and show them the support they deserve as they represent our club in the finals.

Please note that all home games will be played on Friday night this week, so be sure to plan accordingly.

To our teams travelling away, we wish you safe travels, enjoy and continue to represent the Sharks proudly.

Let's make the most of this final round and enjoy every moment. Footy season always seems to fly by, and it will certainly be missed.
