This DataBuoy800 was designed and manufactured for one of Australia’s leading hydrographic engineering services companies’ environmental monitoring and communication technology.

Their hydrographic specialists configured and deployed our customised DataBuoy800 to monitor the water of an environmentally very special Gippsland Bay, where fish concentrate whilst transitioning between several rivers and a lake.

Beware, some of our Buoys Australia’s original engineered and proven designs including the 44 years of legacy IP owned by Buoys Australia, are being copied, by a Melbourne based buoy reseller, who outsources buoy and float manufacturing.
When it comes to quality assurance, decades of proven product designs that meet engineering testing and the need for longevity in the harsh aquatic environment, beware of buying unscrupulous copies of our safety product designs, from these non engineering, intellectual property thieves.
