Upcycling materials for a new life

Another rainy day at the workshop making the most of it 💦💦🪚🔨♻️
I had 104 metres of colourbond roofing from a scrap metal pick up - I cleaned the ends up to make them straight, square and more commonly sized so I’m down to 101 metres of recycled roofing. The 3 metres of trimmings will go to scrap metal.
These sheets are gonna look Beautiful ♻️🤩🤩
Next stop, The Upcycled_QLD filtered wash down bay made from left overs and rubbish 🥰.

Upcycled timbers!! ♻️🔨🪚🤩

I extended my old office so I could have a toilet and wood shed attached to it.
I called it the “Office, woodshed, sh*thouse” for short.

I machined down some old hardwood studs from a renovation I’d done to make a half high wall panel feature through out and used some old hardwood roof batterns to line the ceiling.

Both looked great and were very solid 💪🏼 but most of all, it just brings a lovely bit of character to the building 👨🏼‍🦳
If those walls could talk……

I pulled this Lime bike out of the ocean/low rocks at the Seaway. It made me feel good getting it out but don’t throw Limebikes in the ocean.
I’m going to ring them and see if they want it back for possibly any salvageable parts. Or perhaps they have a recycling process.

Our scrap metal division has really been popping off recently which has got me excited! 🥰♻️

I’d like to say thank you to all the people who have reached out and asked me to collect all the different types of scrap metal! 🙌🏼
I get a great deal of satisfaction from stripping it all back, organising it all and then taking it into my scrap metal dealer.
Feel free to get in touch, I’m always keen to pick up scrap metal if it means it’s not going to landfill 🥰
It also means you’ve done your bit for the environment too!

If I can’t upcycle it, I’ll recycle it 😃

Thanks Gold Coast ☀️♻️😃🙌🏼

I love what can be made from things we already have 🥰

I made 3 storage bins for my workshop which double as a mobile work bench/benches.

Here’s the latest one.

They’re all made from old washing machines and pallets ♻️🪚🔨😃
